The biggest day for Aishwarya Rai and was finalized on 20th April 2007. After a lot of hindrances in their path to the destiny, they left all of them back and moved ahead. Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachan wedding is togetherness to two big families. Two superstars of bollywood are who must have seen all their so much of time, must have done all the rituals of marriage many time as a part of their work, but still they both are so exited that, now this is their actual life.

Ceremonies began from 18th April, in of course bollywood style, There was sangeet, Mehndi and wedding too. Only a selected few from Bollywood were invited for this happy but private occasion. Fans and media are not included in it. But people can not be lacked away from the whole occasion.

The sangeet was in total bollywood style with the Rai's and Bachchan and their friends all dancing together. Many of them have prepared dance performance including Ash - Abhi's and Amitabh and Jaya's dance performance. Then it was mehadi at Ash's place. They all enjoyed all the occasions with a lot of laughter, food and happiness.

And the big day came, the baraat left Jalsa to move toward the venue of the weeding, Prateeksha at 4:00 pm. The gusts were taken by bus to the venue and Abhishek Bachan climed on to his white horse. Abhishek was looking with white outfit and beautiful worked on it and his face was covered with the traditional flowers. But he was so excited that even he swayed to the music with the baratis. Everybody was enjoying and Amitabh was supervising the entire event.

Now barat reached to Prateeksha and the mahurat for the weeding was 5:30 pm, so the rituals have been started. Ash came to the Mandap with a kanjivaram saree adorned with diamond jewellery and flowers in her head. She was looking like an apasara came from heaven. Them the rituals began and the wedding was in both Ashes' South Indian customs as well as Abhishek's North Indian customs. There was very high security on the venue due to the VIP guest called and as the occasion was private. Only some of the celebrities of bollywood were called, some of the close friends and family members. Reception was even too private. No media and reporters are allowed inside. So people have been more eager as their was the weeding to two greatest celebrities of the Hindi film Industry. But everything is good that ends well.
